(Make 4 or as many as needed to make a set)

Materials: #6 US (4 mm) knitting needles, large eye sewing needle

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn - 4 ounces MC and 2 ounces CC (for four covers) The example used Red Heart Light Sage #0631 and Country Rose #0374,

Gauge: 5 sts and 7 rows = 1 inch in st st

Cuff

With MC cast on 36 sts

Row 1: (WS) p2, *k2, p3, rep from * to last 2 sts, p2

Row 2: k2, *p2, k3 to last 2 sts, k2

Rep Rows 1-2 for 7 inches or desired length, ending with Row 2 (52 ROWS)

Inc Row: bar inc in first 2 sts *bar inc in next st, k1, p3, rep from * to last 4 sts, bar inc, k1, bar inc in next 2 sts, (47 sts)

Body

Row 1: (RS) Knit across

Row 2: Purl

Rows 3 and 5: with CC k2, *sl 1, k2, rep from * to last 3 sts, sl 1, k2

Rows 4 and 6: p2, *sl 1, p2, rep from * to last 3 sts, sl 1, p2

Rep rows 1-6 once more. Then rep rows 1 and 2.

Rows 15 and 17: With CC *k2, sl 1, rep from * 6 times, k11, *sl 1, k2, rep from * to end

Rows 16 and 18: *p2, sl 1, rep from * 6 times, p11, *sl 1, p2 rep from * to end

Row 20: Keeping colors as established, p

Rep rows 15 - 20 two more times, then rep rows 15 -18

Row 4: p 2tog across (8 sts)

Cut yarn and draw through remaining sts on needle

Stitch appropriate number into center of Number Panel with duplicate stitch. Sew seam and weave in ends.
