Charted and written pattern for a Chinese Fireball Dragon square inspired by Harry Potter. Suitable for a variety of uses - blanket square, dishcloth, facecloth, etc.

The chart is based on the Dragonscarf by Tina13, which I have adapted to fit into square dimensions. Many thanks to Tina for her wonderful original design, and allowing me to publish my adaptation for use in square designs.

I knit this in worsted weight yarn on 4.5mm needles, at a gauge of approx 11 stitches and 15 rows = 2 inches square, resulting in an 8 inch square.

It can be knitted in other weights and gauges to achieve a different size square. To work out the gauge you need, please note that the square is 45 stitches by 60 rows.

The pattern is offered with license for personal, non-commercial use only.

NB: This is not an official, licensed Harry Potter product and is not intended to be perceived as such.
