PLEASE NOTE
Measure the distance around your upper arm before casting on. Be sure to make sleeves for your appropriate upper arm circumference even if you intend to knit a smaller bust size for the body of the garment. Also, flat seaming of the sleeves is recommended to increase comfort as they are worn with no ease.
28/30, 32/34, 36/38, 40/42, 44/46
Upper arm 9.75” 10.25” 11” 12” 13.5”
(These arm sizes match what is currently reflected on the Craft Yarn Council’s site for standard body proportions.)

For additional help with seaming please see the following diagram.

It has come to our attention that there has been a discrepancy with the construction of model garments for pattern #6, The Alp Natural Bolero, from our most recent pattern book, “Feza Bella.” If you have received a model garment for this pattern please be aware of the following differences:
The arms are knit to a different gauge (original pattern calls for 3.5 sts to the inch) of 4 sts to the inch.
The upper arms measure 11(12, 12.5, 13, 14”) around.
The number of short row repeats in the flared cuffs is only 5, they are also knit to a different gauge (original pattern calls for 3.5 sts to the inch) of 4 sts to the inch, making them approx. 3/4” shorter than the original pattern.

The length of the Front piece is approx. 5” longer. (17 inches total) This results in additional short rows to work, however, there are six less repetitions of the total short rows worked (or flares created) than in the original pattern.

These changes from the original pattern will result in a need for additional yardage. Please note that the new version calls for 5 (5, 6, 6, 7) skeins of Alp Natural, whereas the original pattern called for 4 (5, 5, 5, 6) skeins. (Size 32/34 remains the same)

You will find a free downloadable amended version of the original pattern available here, which will allow you and your customers to knit the current model garments you have on display for Pattern #6, The Alp Natural Bolero; It contains a schematic of all the pieces laid flat with measurements. The pattern is free to distribute and copy; you will find it online via our website: www.fezayarns.com.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, and would like to assure everyone that all future model garments for Pattern #6, The Alp Natural Bolero, will be constructed to the original pattern specifications.
