Using the “Beryl” Angora and No. 9 Needles, cast on 92 stitches.
Work 1 row into the back of the cast-on stitches.

Using the No. 11 Needles, proceed as follows:
Work in rib of (K1, P1), decreasing once at each end of the needle in every row, until 128 stitches remain.
In the next row, * K2tog, P2tog, repeat from * to the end of the row.
Repeat this row once. Cast off.
The Collar
Using the “Beryl” Angora and No. 11 Needles, cast on 110 stitches.
Work 1 row into the back of the cast-on stitches.
Work in pattern, as given for the Front, working 4 rows in “Beryl” Angora, 6 rows in Super Fingering, 4 rows in “Beryl” Angora and 14 rows in Super Fingering.
Proceed as follows:
1st row: * K1, P1, repeat from * to the end of the row.
Repeat this row three times. Cast off.
To Make Up the Cape
With a damp cloth and hot iron, steam, but do not press.
Sew up the side seams for 5 patterns from the lower edge.
Sew up the shoulder seam for the depth of the ribbed yoke.
Sew the collar in position.
The Arm-hole Bands:
Using the Super Fingering and No. 11 Needles, knit up 60 stitches along one side of the arm-bole opening.
Work 2 rows in rib of (K1, P1). Break off the Fingering, join the “Beryl” Angora, and work 2 rows in rib of (K1, P1). Cast off.
Work the other side to correspond, and sew up the seams at the top and bottom.
Work the other arm-hole band in the same manner.
Using the “Beryl” Angora and No. 11 Needles, knit up 146 stitches along the end of the collar and down the front of the jacket.
Work 3 rows in rib of (K1, P1). Cast off.
Work the other front in the same manner.
