This pattern is available in Norwegian, English, German and Finnish.

The was my very first pattern, and it is not perfect. But based on feedback, it is a quite simple knit, as long as you make sure to read the full pattern and instructions.

Thank you Kathi and Ninnu for the German and Finnish translations!
I’m afraid I don’t speak Finnish nor German, so I have to take it for granted that these patterns are well translated. If there are any issues, please contact me! If you find flaws and can help me correct them in either of these two languages it would be greatly appreciated.

November 30th 2020: New, improved version of the pattern published in English!

December 1st 2011: After many requests, I have now added a PDF with a chart for the eyes and teeth! Remember, these are made using duplicate stitch.

October 10th 2011: I added a simple PDF version of the pattern, for those who wish to download it for easier access and printing. Available in both languages!

This is the pattern I have used on my monsterpants, after being inspired by many other monsterpants out there! You can use any type of fingering weight yarn for these pants, or you can use a single strand of DK/worsted weight yarn. The yardage will be approx. half when knitting with a single strand of thicker yarn, as you use double strands of the baby wool.

I hope you enjoy the pattern!
