These baby booties are made in one piece (except for the drawstring at the top), so there is no seaming required. They are made from the sole to to top edge with 45 yards of the main color for the booties and 5 yards of the contrasting color for the drawstrings. These booties can easily be made with a larger hook and heavier yarn to make them in a larger size for older babies.

I originally designed these baby booties to be made for the Community Pregnancy Center in Prescott, AZ. They have a need for baby booties to be given to clients who have a positive pregnancy test. They give out dozens of baby booties each month. If you’d like to make and donate some pairs of baby booties, they would be very grateful. Their website is www.cpcprescott.org. They prefer the booties to be made in colors other than pink and blue because their clients don’t know the sex of their babies when these booties are given out!

I hope you enjoy this baby bootie pattern. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! And thank you in advance if you donate some of these booties to the CPC!

I have a YouTube video tutorial for making these booties. It can be watched here: https://youtu.be/LGKn6mcEJYQ.
