Ornament Rug Free Crochet Pattern
The rug is made using two strands of 4 ply yarn throughout. When working a new color yarn, pick up by finishing last st with new color and work previous color behind sts as you work.
MATERIALS: 8 ozs. Cherry Red Red Heart yarn, 4 ozs. White Red Heart yarn, 4 ozs. Gold Red Heart Yarn, size J hook or hook to obtain gauge.
FINISHED SIZE: 24” in diameter
Gauge: 3 dc = 1”, 4 rows dc = 2 1\2”
About the yarn I used:
I used Red Heart Super Saver (#4) yarn, but any #4 yarn will make a good substitution, just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, go up one size in your hook.
